An Israeli drone struck the southern Lebanese town of Majdal Selm on Wednesday, injuring five people, the country’s Health Ministry said. The attack came a day after Israeli air strikes injured 24 people in Nabatieh, a major town in south Lebanon, despite a recently extended ceasefire with Hezbollah. The Israeli military said on Tuesday it had struck Hezbollah vehicles that were transporting weapons on the edge of Nabatieh. Following the strikes on Nabatieh, senior Hezbollah official Mohammad Raad said the Lebanese people’s right to resist Israeli attacks is a “sacred and legitimate right”.
