The Israeli army said on Monday that it arrested a “terrorist” cell operated by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps’ Quds Force during an operation in southern Syria. The army said that it carried out an “accurate night-time” operation in the Syrian village of Kudna in Quneitra province and “arrested elements that were operated by Al Quds Force”. It added that troops “continue to operate and prevent the entrenchment of any terrorist elements in Syria, with the goal of protecting Israeli civilians”.
