The Israeli army launched raids across the occupied West Bank on Tuesday morning, Palestinian media reported, with soldiers “besieging” a neigbourhood in Ramallah. They stormed the city’s Batn Al Hawa quarter, surrounded buildings and imposed a siege, according to the official Wafa news agency. The home of doctor Ayser Barghouti was raided, his family interrogated and their home prepared for demolition, Wafa said.
