The Israeli army said that it had approved continued fighting in Gaza following a meeting with the Southern Command on Sunday. Army chief Hezi Halevi “held a discussion and approval of plans for the continuation of the war with the commander of the Southern Command, Major General Yaron Finkelman and all the commanders of the divisions and brigades in the command”, it wrote on X.
