Israeli air strikes and navy gunfire kill several in Gaza

More deaths were reported from Israeli attacks on Gaza on Monday, the Wafa news agency reported. Two people were killed by Israeli navy gunfire on the beach of Gaza city, medical sources said. The sources added that at least eight were killed, including a girl, when Israeli planes struck two sites in the centre of the city. A man was killed and another injured in a strike on a group of people in Khan Younis in southern Gaza. Several people were injured in attacks on Jabalia in northern Gaza.
