Most Israeli soldiers withdrew from southern Gaza following the departure of an army division from Khan Younis, Israeli media reported on Sunday as truce talks resumed in Cairo. The 98th division left the southern city of Khan Younis on Saturday night, army radio reported, leaving only one brigade operating in the war-torn strip where more than 33,100 Palestinians have died in Israeli attacks. There was no official confirmation from the army, nor any additional details immediately available.
