Israel’s government will hold a meeting on Saturday evening to approve the ceasefire deal with Hamas, the latest delay to Israeli implementation of the agreement. Israel’s smaller security cabinet spent Friday morning in a security assessment on the deal and is now convening a meeting to approve the same. It is widely expected to pass in the security cabinet, after which the government needs to approve it.
