The Israeli army said that the sound of explosions would be heard over the northern city of Haifa as it conducts a training exercise on Tuesday. “Training will take place over the air space of Haifa Bay, during which the movement of helicopters will be felt and the sounds of explosions will be heard in the area. There is no fear of a security incident,” it said on X. It comes as Israel pushes into Rafah, the last refuge for more than a million Palestinians, despite widespread international concern.
