Israel’s Foreign Minister Israel Katz called on UNRWA Chief Phillippe Lazzarini to resign as nine nations suspended funding for the UN agency. “Mr. Lazzarini, please resign,” Mr. Katz said in an X post late on Saturday, following warnings that the UNRWA is “close to collapse” as the UK, US, France, Germany, and other countries cut funding for its operations.
