Israel strikes South Lebanon

Israel carried out extensive attacks on south Lebanon’s Nabatieh district overnight, damaging homes and businesses and starting forest fires. There were no immediate reports of deaths or injuries. The Israeli military claimed it was attacking sites belonging to Hezbollah, including underground facilities, weapon storage facilities and attack positions. Rural areas near Nabatieh city have been repeatedly bombarded by Israel this year.
