Hamas says Israel continues to “severely restrict” the entry of aid into the Gaza Strip, despite the start of the second phase of the US-brokered “ceasefire”. “With the Gaza Strip being affected by a new weather depression, the catastrophic conditions of displaced people in tents that offer no protection from the cold or rain are worsening,” Hamas spokesperson Hazem Qassem said in a statement adding “Furthermore, the criminal [Israeli] occupation is preventing the entry of fuel and gas except in very limited quantities, thus violating the ceasefire agreement.”
