The Israeli army said it identified a missile launched from Yemen towards Israeli territory, and that air defence systems were operating to intercept it. Sirens sounded in several areas of Israel, a statement said. It comes after the army said it struck a military site belonging to Yemen’s Houthi rebels at the Hodeidah port earlier in the day.
