Israel engaged in ‘open war against Palestinian existence’ in West Bank: Activist

Israel is not merely pursuing military goals in the occupied West Bank but is also trying to ethnically cleanse the territory, according to Hamza Zubeidat, a land rights researcher and activist from Bethlehem. “It’s comprehensive, open war against the existence of Palestinians in the West Bank, especially in its refugee camps,” he told Al Jazeera. “In the countryside of the northern West Bank and south Hebron hills, Israel has carried out many demolitions. At the same time, fanatic Palestinian settlers are attacking Palestinian existence all around the area,” he added.
