Israel bombed the area of Ras Al Nabaa in Beirut on Sunday afternoon, a rare strike outside of the southern suburbs of Lebanon’s capital, which have come under repeated attack. The National heard the missile whistle for a few seconds before the impact. The site bombed appeared to be a residential building. The strike on the central neighbourhood came shortly before the army also issued displacement orders for the city’s southern suburbs.
