Israel’s military said it arrested nine people as they celebrated the release of Hamas detainees from Israeli prisons as part of the Gaza ceasefire deal. The arrests were made in a joint operation by forces from the Benjamin Brigade, Israel Police forces and Shin Bet, the army said on X. The Israeli police, in a separate post on X, said it arrested two suspects from the north and east of Jerusalem for taking part in demonstrations in support of released Hamas members.
