Pakistan has rejected an Indian plan to deliver 50,000 metric tonnes of wheat as humanitarian relief to Afghanistan over the Wagah border in Indian or Afghan trucks, according to officials who believe New Delhi is dragging its feet by presenting “infeasible” solutions.

According to official sources, India appears to be actively spreading “misinformation” concerning Pakistani mechanisms for shipping humanitarian aid across the Wagah border. According to the modalities, Pakistan offered that wheat and other needs be transported from India to Afghanistan by trucks operating under the supervision of the UN’s World Food Programme (WFP).
