On Wednesday, Islamabad police had dropped Test cricketer Yasir Shah’s name from the first information report (FIR) of a rape case. Police reported that the plaintiff had withdrawn her allegations against him. Shalimar police said that Shah had “no links” to the case and his name was a misrepresentation.
