The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps is holding military drills in western Iran that will run until Tuesday, state media has announced, as Israel braces for an Iranian attack after the assassination of Hamas chief Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran. The drills, which started on Friday, are being held in the western province of Kermanshah, on the Iraqi border, to “enhance combat readiness and vigilance,” the state-run Irna news agency reported.
