Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei has slammed “brutal” Israeli attacks on Lebanon, including southern Beirut. In comments carried by Iran’s IRIB state broadcaster, Baghaei accused the United States of being an “accomplice” in all of Israel’s “crimes” in Lebanon, as well as in Palestine and the broader Middle East. At least 3,324 people in Lebanon have been killed and 10,027 wounded since the start of the Israeli war in early March, Al Jazeera reported citing the Health Ministry.
