A team of Indonesian doctors has started work at the Emirati field hospital in Gaza. The “multidisciplinary” medical team has conducted several examinations of severely wounded Palestinians since its arrival, “including multiple fractures and burns of varying severity”, Wam news agency reported. More than 47,000 patients have been treated and 17,000 surgeries carried out at the Emirati field hospital.
