The airport in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu has announced the cancellation of several flights due to heavy rain. At least 10 flights between Chennai and Port Blair have been cancelled, the Hindustan Times reported, citing a statement issued by the airport. Downpours have been reported in several locations in Tamil Nadu, including Chennai, Thiruvallur, Kancheepuram, Cuddalore, and Ranipet.
