It was reported on Sunday that the civic authorities in Uttar Pradesh’s Prayagraj demolished the house of Welfare Party of India activist Javed Mohammed. The authorities claimed that the house was an illegal construction. The Prayagraj Development Authority also alleged that it had given a show-cause notice to Mohammed, on May 10 but Mohammed’s daughter, Somaiya Fatima, rubbished off all the false allegations.
