While coming down hard on the incumbent federal government’s policies in his maiden speech as the newly elected chief minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), Sohail Afridi on Monday called for a review of Pakistan’s Afghan policy, insisting that the solution to terrorism lies in consultation with the masses and their representatives. Afridi called for tribal elders and representatives to be taken into confidence to solve the issue of terrorism. “No one should think that I have come to this position and will deviate from [Imran’s] ideology,” he said.
