Ambassador Asim Iftikhar Ahmad has replaced Zahid Hafeez Chaudhri as the spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. According to the details available at the foreign office portal, Asim Iftikhar has served at various positions at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and in Pakistan missions abroad. FO Said that Zahid Chaudhry has been appointed as high commissioner to Australia, and he will leave the country soon to assume his new position.
