On Thursday, the International Cricket Council (ICC) announced its ODI team of the year featuring two Pakistani players — Babar Azam, as skipper, and Fakhar Zaman. Babar Azam has already been given the reins of the captaincy of the T20I eleven. The cricket body named him its skipper for his “classy best” performance in the format last year in which he was the leading run-scorer at the T20 World Cup.
