The International Cricket Council announced that it has introduced a new point system for the second edition of the World Test Championship. The ICC mentioned that for the second edition of WTC teams will be given 12 points for each triumphed match, four points for a drawn match, and six in a tie. The percentage of winning points will decide the standings of teams, it added. Moreover, ICC determined that this decision was taken after receiving feedback that the point system should be “simplified”.
