The UN agency for Palestinian refugees has described hunger in Gaza as “never seen before” as Israel continues to block aid entry into the territory. “This is hunger as never seen before,” an UNRWA team member in Gaza describes the current situation. “Gaza has become a land of desperation.” The agency demanded that “the siege be lifted, supplies flow in, the hostages be released. The ceasefire now must resume,” he added.
