A large gathering took place in New York City’s Upper West Side neighborhood to support Israel in its offensive against Hamas militants in Gaza. Democratic Senator Chuck Schumer was present to speak at the “United for Israel” rally and vigil led by the UJA Federation of New York. Actress Debra Messing was also in attendance.
