Yemen’s Houthis on Thursday claimed responsibility for the ballistic missile fired at Israel, after the army said it had intercepted the projectile. The Iran-backed group said the Palestine-2 projectile had targeted Ben Gurion airport in Tel Aviv. “The American enemy will fail to prevent Yemen from targeting the Israeli enemy in response to its massacres against our brothers in Gaza,” the group said, referring to US strikes that have been targeting areas under their control in Yemen this week.
