Rescue officials claimed on Tuesday that at least six members of a family suffocated to death after a fire broke out in their home in Hangu, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP).

The fire was started by gas that had accumulated in the room where they were sleeping.

According to police, the victims include a couple and their four children. Their bodies were taken to a local hospital for legal and medical formalities.
