The US plan to end the war in Gaza does not meet Palestinian expectations, but consultations are under way with other factions to formulate a unified response, a Hamas official said on Friday. The official, who spoke on condition of anonymity given the sensitivity of the matter, made the remarks after US President Donald Trump gave the group until Sunday to respond positively or face “hell”. “Consultations are currently under way among the Palestinian resistance factions to formulate a unified position on it,” said the official.
