Senior Hamas official Sami Abu Zuhri said on Wednesday that US Secretary of State Antony Blinken’s comments on a Gaza ceasefire were an attempt to put pressure on the Palestinian group and acquit Israel. Mr Abu Zuhri also told Reuters that the group was still studying the recent ceasefire offer.
