Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has released a video message blaming Hamas for the continuation of war in Gaza as public anger in Israel soars following the recovery of six hostage bodies overnight. “This is a difficult day,” he said in a video released by his office on X, vowing to “pursue, reach and settle the score” with Hamas leaders. “Since December Hamas has been refusing to hold real negotiations. Hamas continues to refuse any proposal, and what’s worse, at the very same time it murdered six of our hostages,” he added.
