Hamas is “studying” a call from mediators Egypt, Qatar and the US to resume ceasefire talks, a Palestinian political source involved in the negotiations said. The source, who is close to Hamas, added that the group was working on identifying “new positions” given the recent change in leadership. “Hamas is studying the proposal to resume negotiations and is working at the same time on a document that outlines its new positions regarding all aspects of a potential deal,” the source stated.
