The first round of negotiations between Balochistan Chief Minister Abdul Quddus Bizenjo and Maulana Hidayat ur Rehman, leader of the ‘Gwadar Ko Haq Do Tehreek,’ were fruitful.

For more than a month, the people of Gwadar have been staging a stunning protest, the photographs of which have gone global. The movement is fighting for the rights of Balochistan’s long-disenfranchised population, including fishermen, labourers, and students.
