A Greek-flagged oil tanker in the Red Sea is still on fire several days after it was attacked by Houthi militants, according to an EU naval mission. The MV Sounion has been on fire since Friday, the EU operation said on X, but there is no sign of an oil spill. Five fires have been observed on the deck of the ship. “All vessels in the area must exercise extreme caution, as the MV Sounion is both a navigational and an imminent environmental hazard,” the mission said.
