In a meeting of the Senate Standing Committee on Petroleum, Petroleum Division secretary Dr. Arshad Mahmood informed that Gas Infrastructure Development Cess (GIDC) will financially support the strategic joint project of Pakistan and Russia, Pakistan Stream Gas Pipeline (PSGP). The Ministry of Finance collected 321 billion under GIDC Act and senior officials also guarantee to provide the required funds for this project.
