Germany announced that it would resume its support for aid agency UNRWA in Gaza after an independent review said there was no proof of terrorist links. The foreign and development ministries in Berlin said they would work with UNWRA on reforms recommended by former French foreign minister Catherine Colonna’s report. They did not reveal details of new funding, saying this would be co-ordinated with international partners but that UNRWA’s immediate financial needs were covered.
