Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Syed Asim Munir is on an official visit to the Federal Republic of Germany, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said on Thursday. According to the military’s media wing the Army Chief was received at the Federal Ministry of Defence by General Carsten Breuer, Chief of Defence where he was presented with guard of honour by the contingent of German Armed Forces. The German leadership also acknowledged the Pakistan Army’s role in the fight against terrorism and in maintaining peace and stability in the region.
