Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi, the secretary general of the Gulf Cooperation Council, has condemned the Iranian attack on two ADNOC company tankers in the Strait of Hormuz. Albudaiwi said in a statement that the GCC “strongly condemns the brutal Iranian attack,” and emphasised that “the repeated targeting of navigation, facilities, and properties constitutes an unacceptable escalation and a grave violation of international law”.
