The Gaza Health Ministry announced the launch of a campaign to vaccinated 640,000 Palestinian children in the Gaza Strip against polio, which will start on Sunday. Magdy Dahir, director of primary care at the Gaza Health Ministry, told a press conference at Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis that the campaign will start in central Gaza, from Sunday to September 4, then move to the south, including Khan Younis and Rafah, from September 5 to 8 and then to the north including Gaza city from September 9 to 12. Mr Dahir said that teams will be based at the health centres affiliated with the Health Ministry and international organisations, including the UNRWA.
