Israel’s war on Gaza has killed at least 53,939 Palestinians and wounded 122,797 since October 7, 2023, the enclave’s Health Ministry said on Sunday. Hospitals in the Gaza Strip received 38 dead and 204 injured people in the 24 hours to Sunday afternoon, the ministry said in its daily update. Israel resumed its military operations in Gaza on March 18 ending a two-month ceasefire. Since then, at least 3,785 have been killed.
