The death toll in Gaza has risen to 38,899 after 56 people were killed in the last 24 hours, according to the enclave’s Health Ministry. Another 89 people were wounded, taking the total number of injured to 76,664 since the war began. At least 468 Palestinians have also been killed by the Israeli army and settlers in the occupied West Bank.
