CAEN: French police arrested a Russian national of Chechen origin after a car was deliberately driven into a crowd in Caen, killing two men believed to be Afghan and injuring nine others. Officials said the 26-year-old suspect was involved in a fight before returning in his car and striking people near the city’s train station. Prosecutors said there was no apparent terrorist motive. Authorities said he legally lived in France and had no criminal record.
