Police and families of the victims said on Tuesday that four people died in IIOJ&K after a pernicious raid by government forces in the disputed region’s main city. Vijay Kumar, the region’s head of police, said that alleged militants fired ‘indiscriminately’ at police and soldiers when they cordoned off a business center on Monday night in Srinagar, following news that they were hiding there.
