At least four children have been killed due to malnutrition and dehydration at Kamal Adwan Hospital in northern Gaza, the Health Ministry said. Seven more children are in danger, spokesman Dr Ashraf Al Qudra said. The ministry also said two children died in Al Shifa Hospital for the same reasons. The hospital’s new director, Dr Hossam Abu Safiya, said seven children died due to malnutrition. He was the head of the hospital’s paediatrics department and assumed the role of director due to Ahmad Kahlout’s detention by Israeli forces in December.
