According to the BBC, New Vision TV, a private Pakistani station in the United Kingdom, has apologised to former finance minister Ishaq Dar, claiming that their claims of corruption and abuse of power against the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader were false and “baseless.”
The comments were made on the channel’s The Reporters and Powerplay news shows, which aired on July 8 and August 8, respectively.
