Authorities said a man armed with a bow and arrows went on a rampage in a Norwegian town outside Oslo on Wednesday, killing five people and injuring two more in the worst assault in Norway in a decade.
After the incident in Kongsberg, a town of 26,000 people approximately 50 miles southwest of Oslo, police announced they had taken a suspect into custody. But the deaths tense a country where murder is uncommon and police officers are generally unarmed, as Norwegians waited to discover the reason behind such an event.
