Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir paid tribute to Pakistan’s martyrs during a Special Guard of Honour ceremony held at Yadgar-e-Shuhada, General Headquarters (GHQ), Rawalpindi. The Field Marshal laid a floral wreath and offered Fateha, honoring the sacrifices of those who lost their lives defending the nation. He dedicated the honor to the entire Pakistani nation, the Armed Forces, and particularly the martyrs and veterans of both the military and law enforcement agencies. Field Marshal stated, “This honour is a tribute to the entire Pakistani Nation and the valiant men and women of the Armed Forces of Pakistan, particularly the martyrs who stood like a ‘Wall of Steel’ against Indian unprovoked, cowardly, and unlawful aggression against Pakistan.”
