After a long illness, veteran actor Sohail Asghar passed away on Saturday.

According to the actor’s family, Asghar had been sick for more than 1.5 years and had recently been admitted to the hospital due to his deteriorating health.

On November 14, after namaz-e-asr, the actor’s funeral prayers will be held.

Asghar began his career in theatre in Lahore before moving on to television. He was recognised for his parts in films such as Khafa Khafa Zindagi (2018), Teri Meri Love Story (2016), Aap Ki Kaneez (2014), Aashti (2009), and many others.
